Description
- low-cost LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) leakage detection system. The system utilizes an MQ-2 gas sensor to detect the presence of propane, butane, or methane in the air. Upon detection, an LM358 operational amplifier configured as a comparator triggers an audible alarm (buzzer) and visual indicator (LED). The entire circuit is powered by a 9V general-purpose battery, making it portable and suitable for household kitchen safety. The project successfully demonstrates a response time of less than 10 seconds at a 10 cm distance from the leakage source. This system provides an effective early warning mechanism to prevent fire hazards and poisoning.
