Description
A 3-layer security system based on Arduino Mega 2560 provides high-level protection by combining multiple authentication methods. In this system, the first layer uses an RFID RC522 module to scan authorized cards. The second layer is a 4×4 keypad where the user enters a secure password. The third and final layer is biometric authentication (fingerprint sensor) to verify the user’s identity.
If all three verifications are correct, a servo motor unlocks the door, the green LED turns ON, and the status is shown on the LCD display. If any layer fails, the red LED and alarm buzzer are activated, and a warning alert is sent via the GSM 900A module to the registered mobile number.
This multi-layer approach ensures strong security, making the system reliable for homes, offices, and restricted areas.
